Existential Crisis

Sit alone inside my room
Never anything to do
When you realize it's all useless from the start

We are animals at best
Doing everything we can
To forget about the death coming to all of us

Another existential crisis
I have them all the time
Why can't I just lay down
Instead of standing in a line
How do we even breathe
Are we just downgraded machines
So much going on at once
And I don't know what they all mean

I do the things
I'm told to do
When realistically I could just run away with you
There is no point
Just rip my joints
It may be inconvenient, but others will still rejoice

Sit alone inside my room
Never anything to do
When you realize it's all useless from the start
We are animals at best
Doing everything we can
To forget about the death coming to all of us

I love when it starts to rain
And I'm laying in my bed
Cause it's the only chance I get
To sit inside my giant head
Thoughts like cogs in a machine
Controlled by another being
And right now I don't feel like being
On this ball we call the world
Light me up and send me flying
To another universe
Where the creatures don't keep fighting
Putting each other in the dirt

I do the things
I'm told to do
When realistically I could just run away with you
There is no point
Just rip my joints
It may be inconvenient, but others will still rejoice
