Awakened Interlude

Her thoughts are lavender
Satin silk with green pastures
On a wall hanging, were pastel paintings
So promising of a past
A prominent, member of society
Heir to the queen of a dominant dynasty
Reminiscent of a renaissance ambiance
So I, dive deep in the sea of her honeycomb iris
As I, open up my eyelids
Swimming in a mind so divine I find this

To see that time is timeless
A dream, this must be my only hypothesis
I reach for my handheld but I'm pocketless
Drop to my knees and scoop a handful
Smell the sand still
Cascading through the cracks of my hands into my sandals
Like an hourglass up on the mantle
Projecting the prophecies and broken promises left glimmering like a candle
I peer in the distance and see some rolling hills and it kinda reminds me of Oregon as I
Ponder the origins of this world I'm in

So I'm forever waiting
In this, love where there is no escaping
And inside, my heart is racing
So I pass the word
And afterwords, I'm left staring in the same brown eyes that have left me taken
But only now, I have awakened
