Nobody, Anybody, but You

Tread the house carefully, do not make a sound
Hear the birds song and dance, and stand in the crowd
Grasp the sunlight reflecting off of your hair
Just know that you're not there

Yet I walk around trying to ignore the sound of
The rocking chair creaking and breaking down
But how could I walk when I need to sit right here
It's the thought that counts

Proudly I party
I bathe in the pity
Of how obscure my existence is
I try to make light
Of the darkness at night
Though I'm just nobody
Though I may not be anybody else but you

Hydrate regularly, as you feel you'll need it more
Don't base your schedule off somebody's doors
Never think of departing from me
Because then you'll never be free

To fly away to your own kind of world
Where you'll play around with it, and its dynamicness
But how could I go there if we shall not depart
So I'll sit in silence
