I can see you staring up at me from your seat, you don't know what you see
As I describe the project that will be the next groundbreaking thing
I'm no public speaker, you can tell, but I think I've been doing rather well
When all of a sudden from beyond the veil, pops the giant enemy crab

Oh, I don't know that anybody proofread this script
They just threw some poor soul out on the stage
And told him to explain to the world the absurdity on the page

You say it's based on history, then remark on all the crazy shit you see
Touch on the mechanics, talk about the change
Don't worry if it all seems a little strange
Cause it doesn't matter if you misguide or lie
If you make it look cool, then people will still buy
Yeah we make games, but this is a business
If it wasn't making money, then we wouldn't be in this

Oh, I don't care that there's a purpose to this now
I've said what I said, and now it seems
That this will all blow over in time, but then again
We could live forever as a meme
Long past the day our product gets released
Our legacy is not what we have made
But the paths we thought it fine to take
When we slapped these nonsense words upon the page
