Birds in the Sky

Another year and another day
Has gone unnoticed has gone away

Another year with no time to spare
But in the end i see the time was really there

It shouldnt matter, no not to me
But i am thinking am i really free

If all im doing is killing time
When doing nothing is more than a crime

White birds in the sky and light shining through
It might look like happiness
But birds in the sky stop light shining through
You know if you want it you will have to kill them too

It seems to me, but im not certain
That all is good behind the curtain

Cause i like shows and what would it be
An empty stage with nothing to see

I have to change, i know it's coming
My life is short, so i start running

I have no goals, no finish line
The world was yours, but now it will be mine

White birds in the sky and light shining through
It might look like happiness
But birds in the sky stop light shining through
You know if you want it you will have to kill them too

When all birds are gone, the lights shine on you
But who's left to see, and whats left to do
So don't you kill them all, or no one is left
And what's the worth of light, if it's payed for with death

White birds in the sky and light shining through
It might look like happiness
But birds in the sky stop light shining through
You know if you want it you will have to kill them too

White birds in the sky and light shining through
It might look like happiness
But birds in the sky stop light shining through
You know if you want it you will have to fly there too
