No Sympathy

As I look over the planet
I see so much self destruction and greed
And you don't appreciate
This opportunity gifted from me

Now you all fall apart
I warned you from the start
If you don't follow me
You'll end up in the dark

Your obsession with fame
Leaves you desperate and drained
Like a flame that's been left in the rain

I gave you eyes but, you don't see
I gave you ears but, you don't listen to me
You say I'm only make believe
And now you want my sympathy?

I know the tension is rising
Between the multiple countries and creeds
But, you need to recognise
This is not how I designed you to be

Load your gun then take aim
It is time to invade
While the drones overhead
Paint the ground black and red

You don't know right from wrong
You've been blind for so long
And there's nobody else you can blame

I gave you eyes but, you don't see
I gave you ears but, you don't listen to me
You say I'm only make believe
And now you want my sympathy?

You wanted a world so pure
Living in perfect harmony
But, you were never truly there to guide us
So why would I believe in you
If you don't believe in me?

I know we are far from perfect
But, we try our best
And then all you can say is

I gave you eyes but, you don't see
I gave you ears but, you don't listen to me
You say I'm only make believe
And now you want my sympathy?

I gave you lungs so you can breathe
I gave you love so you'd come closer to me
I gave you lips so you could speak
But now you get no sympathy
