The Fight

Though only a finger in the fist, I understand as a people if we come together in swing we
Can't miss
Young X, a cobra commander, product of a panther, protege of buffalo soldier and Mau Mau propaganda
Diluted and diced up, I try to give you a dose, without create mass panic or depression

And try to motivate hope and hopefully inspire brothers and sisters just content to cope
I fight for my future seeds and all of my ancestors left on a rope hanging from trees
Maybe it's only my belief, but I think that we're all under siege and true freedom is
The only acceptable relief

They say tomorrow ain't promised, so neither is the pain and if we all fought back, imagine
What we can change, or rather rearrange
Priorities like providing for our people instead of going to debt behind the range
Having sex with random girls and killing our families behind pouring our soul into Babylon's veins
As soon as my hands were big enough, my father taught me to bust back
I love my people and one day I'm probably going to die for that
As long as it's not in vain, my brother

My brother, I call you that because we come from the same motherland
Great and prepped for the plundering
Many fought back and tried to escape the suffering only for their seeds to inherit nothing
Now ain't that something

Something that makes me sick
So I pick up two swords into the heart of America
I do more than prick by depleting of its most valuable resources Us
We've always been strong, but we're smarter now and they're not that slick
So when it comes to a fight, best believe it's going to be quick
