Me, You, & Some Cheesecake

Me, you, and some cheesecake
You've been working hard all day and I think it's time you take a break

So I bought you a cheesecake
You probably used to gourmet dishes, but you see I just stopped by a Jack in the Box
Because I heard they was delicious
I know it's suspicious, they're only 99 cent

So I bought you two
Nothing's too good for you
You a strong, black woman, beautiful, intelligent, can't braid, but the good thing is you're not took it
And you also said you didn't mind cooking

For sure
I didn't think I was ever gonna stop looking, but now I think you may be the one
You perfect, because flaws I found none, and even if I did, you would still be the one
You make me want to write a poem about me and my girlfriend, and I ain't talking about no gun

I fast forward to the days I can call you baby girl, queen, angel, and hun
I'm attracted to your sense of humor, style, and ability to carry on a conversation
Staring at your neck, my heart begins racing
Damn, this only the first date, I have to be patient

I'm really just happy I met you
Hoping one day I'll be that cat that lays next to you, oh, nigga that turns your dark skies blue
To every one of your molecules, I will remain true
One bottle of orange juice, $2.78

A pack of gum, $0.25, and now I'm straight
One night with you, priceless
You were something quiet, in a room full of noise, and in a room full of commotion, you kept your poise
I dig you like a three-year-old digs his toys

I can't buy you the ball, but maybe a drink, and I ain't no baller, but if you holler, I can make you think
Stimulate your mental, and make you laugh through your dental
You may have heard this before, but when the time comes, I'll be gentle
And I couldn't wait to talk to you, so I picked up this pencil, and wrote this
So for now, I'll reminisce on a kiss and wait, for the next time there's me, you, and some cheesecake
