Occam's Razor

Occam was a great philosopher born in 1285
He said the likely explanations are the simple ones right there before your eyes
He called this theory Occam's Razor
But if you asked me old Occam was a fool
He might never have hypothesized that theory if he'd met the likes of you

You said you love me with your smile
So I drew a strong conclusion that you'd be around a while
I never saw the goodbye coming, 'til you walked out the door
Now I don't think I'll shave with Occam's Razor anymore

Well, I wonder if old Occam ever had a broken heart as bad as this
Well, it's illlogical and I dare say it, practical to everything he did
'Cause you see Occam was a fryer
Unaffected by the games of women plagues
He'd never fallen for a liar
Oh, he never felt the sting of that plague

You said you love me with your smile
So I drew a strong conclusion that you'd be around a while
I never saw the goodbye coming, 'til you walked out the door
Now I don't think I'll shave with Occam's Razor anymore

Now I'm pouring whiskey on this lesson learnt
And all I know is this cuts deep and it burns

You said you love me with your smile
So I drew a strong conclusion that you'd be around a while
I never saw the goodbye coming, 'til you walked out the door
Now I don't think I'll shave with Occam's Razor anymore
Now I don't think I'll shave with Occam's Razor anymore
