Human Trees

The rain stings aching torsos
Crowns of doubts
Basket cases of suffering
Thickets of human flesh
Stone pillars of struggles and experience
Suddenly
They grow into a strong forest on a sacred ground
And limbs bulging with truth
Exsert from the trees' torsos
Branches of arms, strained with relentless hesitation
Which used to be feisty, persistent
And submissive to dissonant gestures
Are neither in a bland alibi nor a sniffy threat
They braid hands of buds as if they were praying
Petting each other with leaves of ripe emotions

However only few trees have overgrown with the moss of wisdom
And they can, in a cheerful dance of sturdiness
In their impatience, roll in pernicious rays
Into the night counterchanged with glitter of stillness
To become intoxicated with the untainted wind of withered leaves
Of the human trees

Of the human trees
Of the human trees
Human trees
