Eyes of Boundless Black

As if the abyss itself were staring into me
I have been losing, gradually, blocks of time and sheds of sanity
Now that it's happening more frequently I fear the setting sun

Tis just a dream
Reoccurring
Nocturnal odyssey harrowing
Or so I believed
Until daybreak brought upon my hidden scars

No traces
No signs of lechery
No marks of attack
No memory flow through the threshold
Boundless and black

A sense of perturbation takes hold as it all comes flooding back...

Static fills my lungs
Anxiously awake
Weightlessness my bones creep toward the windows edge
Where eyes of boundless black fixate leering dreadfully
As though the abyss itself were staring into me

Once more I'm locked in in stasis
Lost in the wake of its gaze
I cannot look away from this bird of prey
The all seeing owl

It's infinite glare threatening dementia
It's not what it seems...
Where feathers should reside only sickening flesh

Cadaverous and riddled with scars

A nightmarish being
Is emerging
One we can't hope to outrun
Veiled in our perception
Their deception renders us effortless prey

This lurid epiphany
Awakens abhorrent memories
What it wants i cannot begin to fathom

No traces, no signs of lechery no marks of attack
No memory flows through the threshold
Boundless and black

Boundless and black

Static fills my lungs
Anxiously awake
Weightlessness my bones creep toward the windows edge
Where eyes of boundless black fixate leering dreadfully
As though the abyss itself were staring into me

Night after night tormentous intrusion
Each encounter leaves me less and less human
