Isolation

Looking into a void, I could call my own
Mirroring my soul
Better left alone

In a place where there's no time
I sit and wait, until it passes me by
Asking myself; why have I waited
Why have I waited?
Lost and isolated

Am I to become a shell of who I used to be?
Ephemeral is the solace betwixt the Black and grey

In these moments of serenity, I look at what's become of me
A hollow vessel in disarray, dispersing a silent elegy

Time, there's no composure
Oscillations, bring me back to this isolated state of mind
Feeling neurodivergent between these ensnaring glass walls

Is this what I've become

I now know there is nothing left betwixt
Black and grey

In a place where there's no time
I sit and wait, until it passes me by
Asking myself; why have I waited
Why have I waited?
Lost and isolated

I remain in a world of empty colours
Isolated
