I'm Fine

The misconception I have dealt with the most
Is that any minor superficial cut would be life threatening

There's constantly this question:
Are you ok? Are you ok? Are you ok?
And there's always this answer:
I'm fine, I'm fine you don't need to ask again
I'm fine, are you ok? Is this ok? Are you fine?

I think the biggest one that would need to be dispelled for people
Is still the idea that people with hemophilia are very delicate

I'm fine

Trust me to know the limits and
If I were to make a mistake and hurt myself then it's on me

Listen but don't always listen

The one that always resonated with me
Is the mechanics that when you're describing it
It's like a brick wall that's missing one brick
And so that wall falls over
And so you just have to put the other brick in

I guess what I would say is
You're the one that lives in here, not them
They're not connected to your nervous system
They don't know what's going on
You are the master of your own body

I'm fine
