Reflection's Trail

Demons call, they want my life
Watch where you step, might be behind
Must keep a blade, I keep my scythe
Stuck in my head, don't waste my time
I thought with you, I'd be alright
'Cause without you, I felt so blind
But now it's changed, open my eyes
Must be in dark, to see the light

I must stop 'em
I can't always live in misery
Put my hope in someone else but now that's part of history
Sometimes it's hard, but I can never let it get to me
Hero of my story, must get back to living victory

Dowsing chain gon' give 'em pain but no it's not enough
Ugly like the oil that replaces dirt & mud
But pretty like the clouds that go and soar under the sun
When it rains, looking at the storm, I ain't giving up

Must rise from earth since I fell down
In blood I swim, might sink & drown
I walk my path, go round & round
On hollow shell, what's underground?

Something that I can't live without
Just got right up and stepped right out
Hurt in my heart, bleed from my mouth
But its alright, I'm safe & sound

The only thing I was ever missing the knowledge
Never knew thing but now I'm ready for the logic
Giving pieces of your soul is bound to cause some catastrophics
But its fine, walk the path, love & pain is symbolic

Time & time again, those thoughts are running past my brain
Present is a present, past you should never retain
You send it to your ego and you never think of shame
It all happened for a reason, never say that name in vain
