Beauty In The Cold

Snow keeps falling on my face, sprinkled from the sky
Even though it's always been, i've never though of why
I've grown up to accept the fact, it just a part of life
That the further north I take myself, my home is what I find

Many a wind have scorned my name, like others from day of old
And many folks have moved away, from lies that they've been told
But there's nothing more that I'd wish for my child to behold
That the warmest part of love I've found from beauty in the cold

Never mind what you're told, the beauty's in the cold

Twenty years will pass you by, quicker than a mink
Running from the nimble fox, who's teeth proceed to sink
Into it's prey, another day, that never stood a chance
From their pre-determined paths that cross in winter's wonderland

Never mind what you're told, the beauty's in the cold

Never mind what you're told, the beauty's in the cold

The beauty's in the cold
