Black Dollar
They used our bodies as capital for cash
Until the North & South fought for capital and cash
And we shed our blood to fight for freedom in this nation
And with one foot barely off the plantation
We built businesses and new towns
But you know what happens when that Black Dollar starts circulating around
They burned our businesses and turned our cities into ash
And now they say that's a thing of the past
As Black People work for white people at rates similar to a hundred years ago
And struggling is the norm for Black People
How do we get back our Black Power?
Our Black Dollar?
Our Black Economy?
How do we get back to the way things used to be?
Where gold frequently passed through our hands
And riches came easy to the Black man
Where we had our own and protected our own
I'm trying to reclaim the power we have seemed to forsake
Invest and protect, re-build and re-make
And follow the blueprint like Claud taught us-
Powernomics
Isn't it ironic?
You give your money to your slavemaster-
He used to make you work for free, now you give your money willingly
To the same people that own private prisons that act as new plantations
The same people that own corrupted politicians and corrupted politics of the nation
The same people that put money up to see that Zimmerman walks free
But that Tyrone gets life & works in prison for free
The same people that you give your money to without question
You think that your money is a blessing
But if you use it to fund those who control oppression
You will never know freedom- only transgression
Against your people who need you
Black people are the only ones who can free you
But instead of funding them, you run to that store to buy that white corporation's latest product-
You must of forgot that you were and still are their product
We give money to people who wouldn't mind seeing us dead
What's wrong with our head?
Did we lose it somewhere in commercials, capitalism and commerce?
Did we forget the worst?
Or are we blind?
I pray that there's still time to show appreciation and reverse the depreciation of the Black Dollar
Black People It's Time To Rule Again
Withdraw From Their System
Take your Green dollar and make it Black and watch it come back to you tenfold
Kind of like we used to do with Gold
Watch the Black Dollar crash the Stock Market
Until they have no choice but to run to the Black Market
Not the one behind internet screens and secret coves
But the Black Market where we sell instead of being sold
Where we buy instead of being bought
Where we support our own no matter the cost
Where we circulate our dollars
Until we see Freedom
And the return of our Kingdoms
This starts stone by stone
Matter fact it starts at home
Create a revolution with your spending
This is only the beginning
Black People, we can no longer barter
It's time to recognize and bring back the Black Dollar
Until the North & South fought for capital and cash
And we shed our blood to fight for freedom in this nation
And with one foot barely off the plantation
We built businesses and new towns
But you know what happens when that Black Dollar starts circulating around
