It's been way too long
Since I went back to where I'm from
My first job was at a corner gas station
But now it's gone
There's a baseball field where I played
Down the road from where I lived
Great to see this town didn't change that much
In a world that really did

There was a graduating class over at the high school gym
It's where we threw our caps in the air
All 63 of them
There's an old cemetery
We decorate every year
Stand up for the American flag
Yeah! We still do that here
