'Twas the fifth day of the first month Calvin Coolidge passed away

The 5th is when Ronald Reagan slipped beyond his earthly bounds
And Andrew Jackson, on the 8th, murmured not one more sound

November 18th's when Chester Arthur took his last breath
John F. Kennedy, the 22nd, his soul took flight
George Bush, senior, the 30th, he stepped into the light
George Washington's, December 14th, gone was his essence
The 26th, Harry Truman, no longer in our presence
Last, Gerald Ford, also the 26th, he crossed the fence
