Then got hit with covid my body was finished
The towel was ready to throw in
Depression was a factor I could sense the end
I was ready to give up on life
Even when my journey was just starting out in life
A brand new life was waiting for me in the wind
All I had to do was pick myself up and let my healing begin
Now I admit that's the hardest part
To see yourself in the mirror and accept your part
Even when the hurt is deep
Your destined for something greater that you have yet to see
You are not broken my any means
Just a few speed bumps that won't stop you
From accomplishing
You very dream to be reality so don't stop focusing
I know it's hard but you've got this
Even when the hurt is fresh and wound is deep
That you're destined for greatness
You are not a mistake but you are a gift
To your life and those around you so no matter what hits you
It may knock you down
But just come back with a vengeance
And let those haters be a witness you're not broken
