Soliloquy
I don't want my clothes to define me but I want them to be more defining
A flowing shroud over the encumbered body that I am
But I always struggle to say that myself
It's a humbling experience to now know who I am
And I wouldn't change it for the world even among the second guesses and intrusive thoughts that come with it
But I always struggle to say that myself
A new thought comes to mind and it's one of joy and pleasure
But it's also dark and it's morbid
And if you come for me tomorrow
I might not be where I stood
A flowing shroud over the encumbered body that I am
But I always struggle to say that myself
It's a humbling experience to now know who I am
And I wouldn't change it for the world even among the second guesses and intrusive thoughts that come with it
But I always struggle to say that myself
A new thought comes to mind and it's one of joy and pleasure
But it's also dark and it's morbid
And if you come for me tomorrow
I might not be where I stood
