Atypical

All my rhymes are hashtag original
Inspired from the analog days
Before digital

Call me old fashioned
But that time was integral
In forming my musical mind
Critical

I still collect vinyl
It's something physical
The sound in my opinion
Unequivocal

Invisible
When I was young they diagnosed me atypical
Treated me like I was an imbecile
But I'm showing out now
Making all them sad cats sit back and meow
I take a bow

Don't put baby in a corner
You can push me back all the way
I'm moving forward
Straightforward

I'm a child of God
I'm truly happy inside this isn't a facade
Broad strokes
Don't paint me with
I'm very specific in my craft, wordsmith

To all of my people who are feeling this
Set yourself free and get down with it
To all of my people who are feeling this

Yeah

To all of my people who are feeling this
Set yourself free and get down with it
To all of my people who are feeling this

Yeah

Sometimes I wish I was a simple individual
Understood my brain like an Ikea manual
I see the beauty in the wire-cross electrical
So I stop complaining when it gets hard. Grateful

Hateful.
I've dealt with bullies were a plateful
I fought 'em off and ate my steak though
Big problem but was fate though
Can you relate yo?

I was the scapegoat
They blamed my name and wrote a fake note
My mom was strong she'd get in my boat
We never drowned we always stay afloat
That you can quote

To all of my people who are feeling this
Set yourself free and get down with it
To all of my people who are feeling this

To all of my people who are feeling this
Set yourself free and get down with it
To all of my people who are feeling this
