Walking home today swear the ground will cave
The bridge is cracking under this town's standards as if it were clay
All the grass is turning concrete
It's damaging my conscience sets fire to my fate
The people on the street they don't know my name
Or pretend not to keep their heads down and walk away
The restaurant where my friend and I dreamed we'd work at sixteen
Is ash now tossed 'round on the highway
A message in a sign indicating I should turn away

Blocking out my vision blocking out my sound

Dangerous diamond eternity
Amplifying stereotypes till I leave mocking me
Trying to see through these fake entities
I cannot sleep with the ringing of church bells that hide behind religion
Intoxicating silence in suburban prison
Dreaming of their crimes idealize division
