The Dyatlov Pass Incident
The snow is deep
Temperatures are freezing
These mountain peaks
Are deceiving!
The year is 1959
In the northern Urals
A russian company went
A journey to climb these peaks
After weeks with no
Signs of a telegram
Search parties and aircraft
Were sent to find them deep in the
Trees, covered in white
Throughout night and day
We searched for signs of life
Snow, obscures our view
As we reach the camp
We were all shocked
To find it desolated
The tent was flattened
To the ground and covered in snow
Tracks remain
Leading in all directions
But the tent was slashed
From the inside
Why destroy their only shelter?
THE DYATLOV PASS INCIDENT
UPON THE SNOWY PEAKS
BODIES FOUND, MAIMED AND FROZEN
SCATTERED AMONG THE TREES
THE DYATLOV PASS INCIDENT
NOTHING CAN BE EXPLAINED
INSANITY OR DRUNKEN STUPOR
WHAT MADE THEM ACT THIS WAY?
We tracked two sets
Of footprints to a cedar tree
Under it was and old fire
And two bodies
Naked covered in blood, cuts
And chunks of missing skin
We were baffled and
Set off to find the rest
On the northwest slope of
Of the hill three more bodies are found
All are limp in a snowy creek
Two are men who seemed to freeze to death
The other is a woman frozen
But missing her tongue!
Their, bodies were cracked
And broken, as if a great force
Crushed them to their frozen
Fate! What could this be?
Some kind of avalanche or beast?
We must search for more gored victims
Two more bodies are found
With their heads face down
We rolled them over, horrified
On of them was missing this eyes
Both were shriveled and blackened
Frost bitten and radioactive
Discolored skin, crushed bones from within
How is this possible?
How did this happen?
Written off
As an avalanche
By the other men
They don't understand
They don't understand!
Im staying the night
To further inspect
The gangerous bodies
In all hope
To find the truth!
After the dusk falls
I can see you through the trees
I can see the truth you seek
And when you sleep you'll see...
And when you sleep you'll freeze...
Suddenly awake
Under a cedar
My body is bare
Disoriented
I cannot feel my
Limbs
Half frozen to death
Somehow i can feel
Radiating
Heat above me
So I look up
To see a silhouetted being
Glowing and searing me
And all goes black
The Dyatlov pass incident
Upon the snowy peaks
Bodies found mained and frozen
Scattered amoungst the trees
The Dyatlov pass incident
Nothing can be explained
Insanity or drunken stupor
What made them act this way?
I woke up in a hospital bed
A companion from the search sitting beside me
Telling me i was on the mountain for three days
When they found me I was barely alive and frostbitten
Doctors had to amputate my frozen limbs
Now I live as a husk of my former self
All because I wanted to know the truth
Temperatures are freezing
These mountain peaks
