So we just told the world what we'll release next year
We will delay as needed so please have no fear
Better later and good than early and bad
Cause in the end we don't want buyers to be mad

Now we need to make sure, that our release is strong

Extra effort will be needed
To everyone's great dismay
Everything's starting to fray

Deadline day's almost here, we need to hurry up
Expectations are high, we need to stay on top

Stop with the complaining, you know what you signed up for
Remember our family values or be employed no more

Deadlines that are not yours, stuff added later on
Deaf ears you talked into, good will that's long gone
Fancy words with no meaning, they mask incompetence
Acronyms as job titles making you give penance

Corporate says anything to make you think they care
You're more expendable than used toilet paper
All they do is tell lies, they don't care it's unfair
You need to understand, things will not get better
