Memories From Home

I went swimming every Friday afternoon
My mom cooked salmon-cream-spaghetti
And it smells like home, yeah
I talked to my teddy when I couldn't sleep
He had a blue scarf and he was always there for me
Those are the things, that remind me of home
Oooh
It may not seem special, but it's where I was born
Oooh
It's where I got my first memories and scars
And didn't think about the future
Thinking back, it was a wonderful time
My memories from home
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooh
I built Lego towers up to the ceiling so high
I got an orca for my pool, it was cute but burnt my thighs
I pretended to have magic powers
Listened to radio plays for hours and hours and hours
Those are the things, that remind me of home
Oooh
It may not seem special, but it's where I was born
Oooh
It's where I got my first memories and scars
And didn't think about the future
Thinking back, it was a wonderful time
My memories from home
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooh
I got a baby sister and drove her through the house
In a blue laundry basket, the best car we found
Oh, I looked for the treasure at the end of the rainbow
And spent some time watching kid's TV- shows
Those are the things, that remind me of home
Oooh
It may not seem special, but it's where I was born
Oooh
It's where I got my first memories and scars
And didn't think about the future
Thinking back, it was a wonderful time
My memories from home
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooooh
Eoeoooooh, eoeoooh
