We look up at the night sky

And see our past twinkle right by
The future reflected upon the
Waters that lie below
And the fleeting present
The ground we stand upon

As we watch it
Being swallowed by the black sky
And the black sea
The priciest time and space
Is the here and now
Air is priceless, water is precious
But earth is simply expensive
Fucking expensive— 4000 rupees per square feet —
This ground called Panvel
Where factory meets jungle
Meets stars

Meet my pet dog Itchy who runs between the three
By the time he joins the stars, he's out of breath
And has forgotten me
But my faithful errand boy that he's returns to me in dreams
Sometimes the factory has to close
But after hours is when the brightest stars glow
As old and passé as they maybe, the hide n seek they play with me
Only makes for beauty, beauty, beauty

Because something dead becomes all the more beautiful
Having drowned in our tears trickling mournful
Risen out of the factory through thick and thin
Memorial blogs and smog
Dirtful of smoke blowin out your tok
Where dust for dirt and this for that
Join hands to laugh in your face!
Into thin air, thin air called the night sky

While I'm glad like

All those sad days
Are a memory
