Bears At the Birdfeeder

Bears at the bird feeder, houses on fire
When I look dead north it still morphs it's attire
But the bears filled with love and God knows we're all tired
But they lost a dog and I thought cuz of me
My old man walked out to chop down the old oak
And I didn't lose him but damn it was close
Inches decide it's the end of his stay
And it's hard to grasp we're all one slip away

I've been living a life
Lead by fear
But it's time to leave it all behind
And be clear
That what not to do, how not to be
Cannot make someone complete

Bears at the bird feeder, houses in flames
And I was the first one to see anything
Quick to react but much quicker to blame
If I had one more minute it'd still be the same
My old man walked out with me right by his side
And I saw the signs but I kept my tongue tied
The oak freed above and it naturally fell
And thank God it glanced cuz that feeling's my hell

I've been living a life
Lead by fear
But it's time to leave it all behind
And be clear
That what not to do, how not to be
Cannot make someone complete
