The Lonely Sea

I couldn't tell you how it came to be.
The moon cannot forget the lonely sea.
Small animals grow up so wild and free.

I spent years watching nothing on TV.
The fire in my eyes began to fade.
But then a lonely grin crept up on me
And another tide was somehow made.

You never know just what you know
Until your bones begin to show.
A tiny seed inside the ground
Makes a massive roaring sound.

I don't know why and I don't care now
Just who I am or what or how.
Freedom will come when I'm rid of it.
And it's my time, so I'll never quit.
