Caged Tiger

Prisoner I've always been
Prisoner I'll always be
In a 2 meters by 6 Cage
When my paws could take me the furthest away

They take me out
Just like a toy
To play to the gallery
Who cares what will become of me?

A caged tiger
An Innocent prisoner

"Ladies and Gentlemen, the Tigers Trainer!"

I'm a caged tiger
An Innocent prisoner

I've done nothing wrong
In this cage I was born
Which animal deserves
To receive a life sentence

What will your children learn?
I'm not a ridiculous clown
How could they respect my nature?
What could they learn about my behaviour?

How can you not see the pain on my face?
Are you so convinced I am feelingless?

Poor, Poor bored humankind
Driven by egoism
Searching for exoticism
See what I really am

My Body is not made to resist to the cold
And when the winter comes
I'm confined in the dark
Without any spark

You certainly think
This Trainer won my trust
But without his precious whip
I'd snatch his head from his shoulders

When they grow older
Some circus use to sell tigers
To merchants of death
After living in cage for their whole life

And for a few gold coins
A stupid rich asshole
Will be more than happy
To snatch my life away from me

I was sentenced to death
On the day I was born
