Foghorns

Fog is covering the bay
Like my thoughts are covering my dreams
Like a ship that's trying to find the way
With a foghorn sound
I'm following my heart

My mind's like a foggy choir
That keeps me very-very quiet
And I always hear its whisper full of doubts and concerns

What if I let me down
What if I'm wrong
What if I'm not good enough
What if I've waited too long

The captain of the ship is a truly wise man
He doesn't care about fog
He is following his goal
We are the captains of our dreams
And we keep keeping on
Our souls like foghorns help us stay
On the unique route we belong on

I see the fog is getting closer
It covered mountains on the horizon
I feel some pain inside my chest
It's like a poison
I hear the horn, I trust myself
And I don't care about

What if I let them down
What if I'm wrong
What if I'm not good enough
What if I waited too long

Fears and crashes,
Tears and the past day's ashes
Liars, prayers are taking off my layers
To find out what's inside my soul
It seems I should just let it go

Like the captain of the ship, who's a truly wise man
He doesn't care of fog
He's following his goal
We are the captains of our dreams
And we keep keeping on
Our souls like foghorns help us stay
On the unique route we belong on
