Mind Mines
Beautiful things
Coming from broken places
I know say
Still things make hard
But to my paddies never give up
When disappointed
Just look within
You can't be too tired
You no be bicycle
Life ankasa ebe time
Ebe cycle
But e check like wanna dreams de3 ban dey top
Only if they knew
What these dreams meant to me
Only if they knew
My art was all to me
But it's cool
She used to tell me
Life is a school
So, I tried to live by principles
We dared to dream
And never understood the dream
But now I dream to dare
I wake up after every nightmare
Cos life itself is never stable
Some were born with silver spoon in mouth
But we create silver spoon
With words from our mouth
Not here for the numbers
This is just the genesis
Forget about your kings
I'm here to write epistles
I don't have to look at your mark
To get a revelation
This is not poetry
It's just my lamentations
You tell us to support our own
But you leave your own
On the streets without a home
When he's on the low
Dem dey streets top
With nothing to chop
So never look down on the shoe shine
When he shines your shoe
Cos when the sun shines
You no be better pass any bro
Poverty is real
So we skip the tea
To drink some koko
It's never been easy
But God made it koko
It's never late
Till you're dead
But until then
Keep working hard
For the bread
Coming from broken places
I know say
Still things make hard
But to my paddies never give up
When disappointed
Just look within
You can't be too tired
You no be bicycle
Life ankasa ebe time
