I'm lost in translation while trying to make sense
Refusing to shut up and dance for likes from fake friends
But one false move can come at a great expense
Treading on thin ice 'cause snowflakes take offence
So freedom of speech is beginning to be prohibited
They don't want us drunk on knowledge, thinking uninhibited
Our food for thought is modified and derivative
Under the constant supervision of the all-seeing pyramid
The possibilities used to be limitless
Now we play it safe and stick to their parameters
The only stars we look at are the rich and glamorous
In the court of public opinion, the verdict's never unanimous
This political landscape is hazardous
And these are very treacherous times
Psychological warfare is prevalent
We're being led by the intellectually blind

The devil still loves vanity; you should know it's his favourite sin
In this game of life, everybody's playing to win
But you can't cheat death
We all must take one last deep breath
Cancelling people has made society regress
And to succeed, you must obey more and speak less
Pushing false narratives, the real ones are rejected
Living in spaces that are safe, wanting to feel protected
All it takes is a micro-aggression, and somebody gets triggered
Return to sender; our messages are never delivered
Only speaking in memes, repeating political rhetoric
We're sinking deeper into a spiritual deficit
