A time I went to a party
But I couldn't get no action
Because of my fashion

Deep in the club with the bright bright lights
Where the ladies come to dance and party all night
She was sitting there in a little green dress
And she was looking good from the tuckus to the chest

I asked her for a little dance
She looked me up and down and said not a chance

I came dressed in my pearl pink flip flops
Had on my white cream bedazzled tank top
All the girls stood and laughed at my dance shoes
Even though I had the best dance moves

It doesn't matter what's on my feet
Because my soles can keep the beat

I can break dance I can even do the worm
Thought that'd be enough to make the ladies squirm
But as it turns out, you need fancy clothes
No flip flops with your toes exposed

But I'll keep wearing them
