Myself, Again

Wish I could present the answer
I've been wondering for myself
This world and everything it asks for
Can bare down harder than it's worth
Is it meant to be a challenge
When I've been praying for my break
I've been falling into patterns
A product of my own reckless state

I can't wait to feel, myself again
I'm sure I will, can you tell me when
I can't seem to find, myself here
A life I've left behind
Swear I'll try to fight my way back

I can't show you half of what it means
To feel so buried under
A weight I'll never shake
Unless I feel it's worth the effort
Maybe it's nicotine that's slowly pulls me under
The last two years or three has been a comedy of errors

I can't wait to feel, myself again
I'm sure I will, but can you tell me when
I can't seem to find myself here
The life I've left behind
Swear I'll try to fight my way back
