Here in my cage just my shadow and I
A soul longs to wander to break free and glide
Surrounded by iron a captive it stays
Yearning for sunlight just a moment in its rays

Outside the confines the world dances with glee
Laughter and love unburdened and free

While here in this cage my own is left barred

All of thier smiles ignite like a resplendent flame

My existence with meaning with purpose and grace
To step into freedom to find my own space

A glimmer of hope a fragile soul that learns
To break through these barriers to find my own way
And reclaim my life no longer thrown away
