Yesterday, the train was running late
I took the six, I ended up on 28th
I got to work, my boss was being so irate

I've still got couple more concerns
My girl's been dropping hints about a brand-new purse
My grandma called, she said she needs a different nurse
I swear to God, late-stage capitalism is a curse

See, we've been running and moving around
Still turn around and we're broke
Putting hours in by the thousands
Like, what is this, a joke?
They've got W1s, and W9s, and W6, and fours
What the difference is, who knows?
We're exhausted and it shows
