Apple Cider In October

Streaks of orange across the sky
I pull in and I almost fly
Up to your door, I know it's been a while
At least we're together again now

Leaves are turning red from green
But teardrops make it hard to see clearly
We sit beside the fire with our mugs of apple cider and breathe
I know it's been a minute but you put cinnamon in it
And it tastes like home

The air it smells like fall again
A chill is brought upon the wind
I'm cold but I don't want to go in
Because we're together again now

Leaves are turning red from green
The stars up in the night sky move swiftly
We sit beside the fire with our mugs of apple cider and breathe
I know it's been a minute but you put cinnamon in it
And it tastes like home

We sit beside the fire with our mugs of apple cider and breathe
I know it's been a minute but you put cinnamon in it
And it tastes like home
