Undertow

On the island of my heart
Stranded I found my part
I didn't know I was so smart
I'm all I needed from the start
In me I find my destiny
It's not some missing piece that I need
And so walk to the way of my own heartbeat
That sets me free
But I might need your help
So I can see what I'm doing here
The lights on my path have burned out
And I'm crippled by this fear
When the tide rolls out I'll go
Swept out in oceans might
The currents got a strong undertow
In this thing called life
Where the magic was gone
Now I see and I believe
That everything's a miracle
Or it's nothing at all
No matter big or small I breathe
I intended to fix this parted sea
With you and me
On an island we all start
All alone it is too hard
I'm so thankful for every step you take
To come to me
But I might need your help
So I can see what I'm doing here
The lights on my path have burned out
And I'm crippled by this fear
When the tide rolls out I'll go
Swept out in oceans might
The currents got a strong undertow
In this thing called life
Thankful for each step you take
To come to me
Swept in the undertow
To come to me
