I'm excited to see where we end up after this
And how people receive the music
But this is where I am right now, and my dreams for where we'll end up

Fear and faithlessness are definitely the enemy of progress
So i just sew my seeds
Before I leave

Still scared shitless
But I move forward 'cause God is my witness
And the feeling of wanting it is more powerful than the fear is
They could never test my limits

But maybe that's just the kid in me

I see visions of a song, with a million listens
Do a show at Lafayette you can't say I ain't ambitious
Music my full time income would do it
And I want people feel like they've found a home in my music
So on the good days I uplift you
And in the hard times
I'll pass lines
In my own life

Life changes in an instant but in its own time
