Loneliness, or madness ? - Loneliness, or madness ?

(You know, it's not because time flies, it's because)
(Everyone go away at some point)
(I can't even remember the last time someone made me smile)

And as the days go by, the feeling of loneliness grows
Like a shadow that never fades, it follows wherever I go
Memories of laughter and joy, now distant echoes in my mind
I long for someone's presence, a connection I hope to find

But as I sit here in solitude, the silence becomes my friend
I embrace the emptiness, a solace that I cannot pretend
Though loneliness may linger, I find strength within my soul
In the depths of my solitude, I discover a love

For in this solitude, I learn to appreciate my own company
To cherish the moments of quiet, where my thoughts roam free
Loneliness may be my companion, but I will not let it define
I'll embrace the solitude and let my spirit to shine

And so I'll keep on searching, for that someone who'll understand
To share the journey of life, hand in hand, hand in hand
