Lighthouse

There is a lonesome lighthouse
It gazes out on an empty shore
Oh how it feels the ocean every day while it is spitting salt in its wounds
Gradually falling apart until its master decides to tear it down, brick by brick

Shine into the great unknown
Our universe a sight without end
Feel my heart, it's carved into stone
But I'll hold fast for all to see

To be given a purpose and be placed into nothingness, can break obsidian into dust
How far can the light reach when no ships need guiding?
O Fortuna shines no light in the lighthouse
Nothing to say for its salvation
Take it down and no light will be missed
It shall die without pride
Never lights up the shore for thy passing ships
Set it ablaze, burn down the lighthouse to the ground if you dare

Come into my arms
Show me what the flesh has chosen
