Through the ageless eye
Read the book of time
It's open from start to end

Deep forest leaves combine
Only to be swept along desert sand

See the life that past unnoticed
See the love that died as a child

In his worldly pride
The power one man held in the palm of his hand
All his greed and hatred
Yes your brother surely breeds prejudice and pain

A million innocents
Cut down by the dread machine
Minds imprisoned their souls drive insane

Now the eye is open
All life is over
In ancient times a sacrificial victim was chosen
Their burning bodies and the incense filled the air
No one cared

The universe, immortality
A god above who knows everything
The pain and the pleasures of our Earthly remains
Were all in vain

The stars are all entwined
