Home

Y'all tune in real quick, man
I got something to share
Look

How you be in a room full of people and still feel alone
Roof over your head but it still don't feel like home
Laying in your bed and them thoughts come hit your dome
Saying it will be better when your name's written in stone
But don't listen to the enemy
He's trying to make you be-friend, a frenemy
So you won't listen to that friend in you, that friend in me
The Holy Spirit giving energy so endlessly

So I'ma use that energy to reach the industry
An end the streak of people living life senselessly
Or thinking that they sin is a necessity
when God's the only necessity that's necessary
Remember them nights crying to God it was getting scary
Cause my parents were acting odd and I need a fairy
Rubbing that Bible like a lamp praying the smoke come out
Hoping that all of my problems somebody else can carry
Remember asking God to stop all of the screams and shouts
But then I woke up and kept hearing the screams and shouts
Crying to God like why ain't you fix all the ins and outs
Cause you don't appreciate the water till you seen the drought
And I ain't notice God was with me till they left me out
Had my ups and downs but you know he cleared my doubt
He wiped my tears stopped the water then he led me out
And there's some lessons in this story hope you'll hear me out

How you be in a room full of people and still feel alone
Roof over your head but it still don't feel like home
Laying in your bed and them thoughts come hit your dome
Saying it will be better when your name's written in stone
But don't listen to the enemy
He's trying to make you be-friend, a frenemy
So you won't listen to that friend in you, that friend in me
The Holy Spirit giving energy so endlessly
