No Hook

I don't need no hook, I'm rappin' from the book,
Got them demons shook, cause to holiness we look,
I ain't just rappin' lyrics, I'm quotin' scripture,
If you would read the word, then you would know the difference,

I ain't after money, I'm seeking wisdom,

A life without the Lord, you're caught up in the sickness,
Of believing ya lies, that's the worst symptom, (Proverbs 12:22)

Satan diluted your eyes, truth be the serum,
Ignoring God so long, I pray we still hear him, (Romans 1:28)
Everybody's a Christian, but do we really fear him?
That's the beginning of wisdom, so tell me how you livin? (Proverbs 1:7)

Why you call him your Lord to whom you never listenin'
That's like missin' a friend to whom you never visit (Luke 6:46-49)
Moved by the Holy Ghost, we breakin' through our limits
This ain't hearsay, homie, I'm a witness (Acts 1:8)

Cause I don't need no hook, I'm rappin' from the book
I got them demons shook, cause the holiness we look

In much wisdom is grief, increasing knowledge is sorrow,
What I knew yesterday, got me dreadin' tomorrow (Ecclesiastes 1:8)
With a new yesterday, I could be better tomorrow

That's like biddin four in space, but only makin' two, (James 2:21-26)
Claim we really love the Lord, our actions tell the truth,
Our desires may be hidden', but not from Jesus (Ecclesiastes 12:14)

Faith don't need it, to see it, I don't need proof
If I can feel it in the spirit, God'll get me through (Romans 10:17, Hebrews 11:1)
I wasted some time, it got me feelin' grimace
And now I'm back on track, for my father's business and (Luke 2:48-49)

They say beggars can't be choosers, well I beg to differ
I beg the Lord to free me, now I choose to have my freedom

Ordained to be a teacher, anointed as a preacher
Trained as a marksman and I reach for ammunition
I'm talkin' bout my word and not no nine millimeter
Give you nine different scriptures, cut your flesh and heal your spirit

He rose in three days with his death, sin was paid (Matthew 12:38-41)
Its sad he had to pay for a purchase he ain't make
It ain't too late, you can improve too
Just listen to the lyrics, it behooves you

God's spirit can renew you
