Trying to picture it
I think I can see it

Who is to stand beside us
In a room that's full of vipers
When the stomach's filled
Its hard to see the fool from righteous
I can tell we're focused on the right things

And only those that see the ground will ever see the serpents
If I only focus on the sun, I'll burn my wings for certain
So may God help with these burdens 'till we meet in person

I can smell the smoke of all these bridges burning
But I have to fix my eyes on things of more importance
Train my focus to always notice an angel poking
Make these choises that'll keep us joyous when the tables turning

And I know the Truth demands His sacrifices
That indecisiveness can rarely lead to lower prices
That after all advice it all comes down to my own actions
But time is passing, and often wasted when trying to count it

So tell me who will find us when hiding behind this silence
I guess we need reminding
That we are born from reliance and are nothing without a guidance
But I guess what's too apparent is transparent, huh?

The frog is boiling
But don't leave the slowly heated water
What's adaptation without healing
Don't know the answer

I think we know ourselves the most by what we're going after
Though what we run from is always contributing factor

I am not here to shame the shameless
Till they blame the blameless
