A Testament of thy might

Oh, noble soul, burdened by the weight of sorrow
In this realm of darkness, where hope seems hollow
Thou journey through life, a tragic tale to unfold
Woven with threads of misery, as thy story is told

In yonder days of yore, thy heart was full of mirth
But fate hath played its cruel hand, stealing joy from birth
Like a wilted rose, thy spirit doth wither and fade
Lost in the tempest of despair, where shadows pervade

What is this life but a mere fleeting breath?
A stage for players, where we dance until death
We are but puppets, in destiny's cruel embrace
Whose strings are pulled, with no thought of grace

Oh, how I long for solace, for a glimmer of light
To pierce through the darkness, and guide me through the night
But alas, the stars have forsaken me, their radiance lost
Leaving me adrift, in a sea of sadness, tempest-tossed

As I wander through the labyrinth of my weary mind
I ponder upon the mysteries of existence, so unkind
Why must we suffer, endure this endless strife?
Is there a purpose, a reason for this tragic life?

Yet, amidst the gloom, a flicker of hope I see
A gentle whisper that promises a possibility
For in the depths of despair, seeds of strength may grow
And from the ashes of sorrow, a new spirit may bestow

So, dear soul, let not thy heart be consumed by despair
For even in darkness, a spark of light is hidden there
Embrace thy sorrow, for it is a testament of thy might
And remember, in the depths of darkness, stars shine bright

Mayhap, in time, thy wounds shall heal
And thy spirit, like a phoenix, shall rise and reveal
A strength unimagined, a resilience untold
For thou art brave and mighty, more precious than gold
