Basement

I thought this was the part that I start walking uphill?
So tell me why it's getting darker?
Thought this was the part of me that I killed?
So how's it still pulling me under?

Oh, and I've been here, but it's different than before
Familiar place, but I can't find the door
It's coming into focus, might be the lowest
I didn't know it but

(I guess rock bottom has a) basement
Never thought it could get worse
'Til I woke up on the pavement
Facing all the bridges that I ever burned
I've been tripping and falling and making the rounds
To the loneliest corners that I ever found
No saving me now, I'm too far down

I'm too far down
I'm too far down, oh-oh

Starting to think that maybe this is my fate
It kinda kills the point in trying
Would it be so bad if I stayed?
No it's not worth the cost of climbing

Oh, and I've been here, but I'm further now
The air is cold and the lights went out
I think I'm losing focus, this is the lowest
I didn't know it but

I guess rock bottom has a basement
Never thought it could get worse
'Til I woke up on the pavement
Facing all the bridges that I ever burned
I've been tripping and falling and making the rounds
To the loneliest corners that I ever found
No saving me now, I'm too far down

I'm too far down
I'm too far down, oh-oh

I thought this was the part that I start walking up-hill, up-hill, up-hill?
Thought this was the part of me that I killed, I killed?

(I guess rock bottom has a basement) basement
Never thought it could get worse
'Til I woke up on the pavement
Facing all the bridges that I ever burned
I've been tripping and falling and making the rounds
To the loneliest corners that I ever found (I ever found)
No saving me now, I'm too far down

I'm too far down (I'm too far-, I'm too far-, I'm too far-)
I'm too far down, oh-oh (I'm too far-, I'm too far-, I'm too far-)
