Rant

I've been good for a while
But then i had to change
We don't talk anymore
So i pissed on your armchair

You be good for a while
Tell me it's worthwhile

I want a golden leash
Just to break it free
And sell it at the pawn
I'll snag a bag of crisps
And some fresh catnip
I swear I'll get stoned
And It worked well for a while
At least I could smile
But then I had to change

Sit me down and stockpile
Your toilet paper fort
On a carpet defiled
Let's have a walk old sport

I've been good for a while
Low-profile, unhostile

Yeah everything is free
When on a crashing spree
Of broken smartphones
You simmer your beef-tea
You snotty wannabee
Throw me the hot bones
And let me howl for a while
From this homegrown exile

Say everything is free
I wanna rest in peace
I need a new vaccine
(I miss the good old days)

I've been good for a while
Since you've gone away
I sleep in front of the door
But it's not the same
I'll shut up for tonight
I'll sit here for a while

And maybe you'll come back

And I'll do anything you want me to
I'll follow you through
Anything i gotta do
A lifetime flies away so fast
And good things don't last
I had no one to lean onto
You've been a friend when I needed you
