DEFEND AUTONOMY (FINAL BOSS)

Subconscious influence manifest.
Thousands of dendrites lash out of it's head.
So upgrade my weapon, replenish my health.
Autonomy we must defend.

My robotic likeness made of brains attacks,
Trying to embed those wires back in my neck
So that I may again receptively perceive
The mundane projections of a shared reality.
But when you let someone else influence what you believe,
Nothing ever is as it appears to be.
Now actively combat the facet of this character that let's it happen.
We will be free.

I've recognized it,
Identified it.
It's time to fight it.

Subconscious influence manifest.
Thousands of dendrites lash out of it's head.
So upgrade my weapon, replenish my health.
Autonomy we must defend.

These wires were hidden
Out of vision.
Illusory prison.

But the question still remains,
Who instigated this liberation?
Who cut my character loose from the chemical feed
That induced hallucinations?
As the battle rages on,
And as my health runs dangerously low
I wonder if I'll ever know.

It's entering another mode

Splintering off, shifting into the forms
Of all of the enemies it sent forth.
This onslaught appears to be our defeat,
When suddenly something erupts from me.
Wires of my own bursting from my core,
Tangling with those that controlled me before.
Blade to the knot it's the only way.
Cut the connection to end this game.

Consciously influence, manifest.
But don't let the power get to your head.
Surrendered my weapon, at peace with myself,
Until you decide to play this game again.
