Shower Thoughts

Feel the water running down my skin
But all that I can focus on is
All these thoughts that are in my mind
All the things that I keep inside
I still have the shampoo in my hair
But right now I don't have the energy to care
Because all that I can think about
Is how I ended up where I am now

All the choices I've made
Did I lead myself astray
If I would've chosen something else
Would I be happier than I am now

I wonder, did I take the right path for my life
Or would the grass be greener if I'd have chosen the other side
I'll admit I'm afraid that I made a mistake
And what if it's something I can't take away
Oh, I wonder, am I really this fucking lost
Or are these just shower thoughts

Oh, if I could go back in time
And give it another try
Would things be any different
Or would I do it all again
